Mushrooms. We got Mushrooms. Shiitakes to be exact!
When most people think of mushrooms they think of the button mushrooms sold at the store, or perhaps filled with crab dip at a holiday party. We admit, our perception of them was pretty narrow too, until we discovered the world of shiitakes and their myriad of health benefits (do yourself a favor and do a google search). So we decided to grow our own, and man are we glad that we did. Loaded with vitamins and healthy as can be, we couldn’t be happier with the vibrancy and flavor of the mushrooms growing here at Sweetwaters Integrated Farm. We are pleased as punch, to say the least.
